VLR 01- 001 Peugeot 406 Coupe , 2001 Ex Works Vic Lee Racing BTCC/TOCA Spec Rolling Chassis .
Steve Sopers last Works BTCC car , retired and repaired after a sizeable shunt at Brands Hatch during round 25 of the 2001 Finale and then repainted in 2002 Halfords Sponsor Colours to be used as the Teams Showcar !
The car suffered front left and rear accident damage, the shunt spelt the end of Sopers Works Career - altho a very successful Historic career is still on going !
Signs of repair can be seen identifying the Shell , sadly the chassis plaque is no longer with it - Steve Soper's name is still visible after cleaning the back window !
No Dampers, brakes or any major systems remain , only the original hubs ,uprights, wishbones and Anti roll bars , the car rolls on its original O.Z Centrelock rims .
The Cabin is clad in Carbon Fibre ( effect ) composite , firewall and floor coverings too , these and the Dashboard sections are with it but currently removed ,an original basic dash is in the car .
I cannot vouch for the condition of any Rolling stock , its all original TOCA gear and has sat around for 16 + years now , with the right tools and knowledge all this can be serviced tho .
Ive put a crazy price up because i had to - ive no idea of its eventual value , its a Historic piece of British Touring car History but incomplete and unlikely to ever be Usable despite its good looks !
