This van was a factory order direct from Mercedes which I bought in March 2017 for towing my boat. The van is designed to  tow up to 3500 kg and the van with payload can also be 3500 kg giving you a gross train weight of 7000 kg. To achieve this they fit a special axle/ diff, tow bar and gearbox so if you are looking for the ultimate towing vehicle then this is it - its power and comfort is amazing, I towed my 3400kg boat to Spain with it last year and it was a breeze I took the same boat previously with a new Ford Ranger Wildtrak and the Sprinter was far superior in every way.

It is a premium edition so fitted with many factory extras like air-conditioning, drivers comfort seat with arm rest, chrome grill, wheel trims, audio 15, becker map pilot, 7G-speed automatic tronic plus gearbox, tow bar to give 7000kg GTW, rear half step, reversing camera, side window, 100 litre fuel tank for extra range.

Factory metal bulkhead removed for extra vision through additional side window but will remain with the vehicle  

26 months manufacturers warranty remaining.

I have had a few people ask me about the 7000kg GTW {gross train weight} and how it works !! the van with a full tank of fuel and a driver weighs  approximately 2500kg which gives you around 1000kg of load that you can carry in the van ie 3500kg  GVW {gross vehicle weight} so additionally then you can tow a trailer up to a total weight  of 3500kg for both the trailer and the item/items on it giving you a total GTW of 7000kg !!

This makes it an ideal towing vehicle for a number of applications i.e. motor sport, rally car, classic car, go-karting, enduro, motorcross and would make an ideal starting point for a race van or camper van conversion.
