2005 Tiger cat e1

This is an award winning Tiger Cat E1 kit car first registered in 2005. It is a Ford Sierra based kit from Tiger Racing. It’s yellow with polished alloy sides and a black & yellow leather interior. It has a 2ltr Pinto engine with 5 speed gearbox. The car is not on a Q plate but has been registered with a Northern Ireland plate. The plate could be used as a personal number plate and is currently for sale separately for £1600. However will sell with car if not sold beforehand.

This car was subject to a painstaking 3 year build. It passed SVA first time and has passed all MoT’s since with no recommendations. There is only 3500 road miles since the build was completed in 2005. I have the build manual and all receipts.

The car was built using numerous parts including:
• Fully rebuilt engine including new twin choke carb, reground crank, new pistons, camshaft, cambelt, head reskimmed and ports polished.
• Reconditioned gearbox and new clutch
• New propshaft
• Full stainless steel exhaust
• New Tiger wiring loom
• New brakes including calipers, discs, cylinders, hoses, copper brake pipes, shoes and pads
• 5 new BSA alloy wheels fitted with Yokohama tyres and locking nuts.
• Windscreen wind deflectors
• Interior is all new and fitted with Intatrim sports seats. fully carpeted and trimmed. Yellow Tiger dials. Sports steering wheel. Sabelt FIA approved 4 point safety harnesses.
• Suspension fully reconditioned or fitted with new parts
• Full tonneau cover.
• The final drive was subject to a thorough inspection and fitted with new driveshaft boots before installation

Although this car has staggering performance, it has never been used on a track. Hence it is in absolutely immaculate condition with an MOT to April 2009.The asking price is a fraction of what this car cost to build and register and is an absolute bargain.
