Raceleda Sierra Upright Kit

The Raceleda Sierra Upright is designed to replace the standard Ford Sierra Upright when it has been modified for double wishbone use.

The design brief was to replace the whole all of the Sierra componentry to increase performance and dramatically reduce unsprung and rotating weight.

The upright is supplied with ultra-lightweight Raceleda billet aluminium hubs as standard that replace the very heavy Sierra drive flanges. You can then choose to run a variety of braking packages to suit your budget. Please note the standard when fitting Raceleda Sierra Uprights you will not be able to use the standard Sierra calipers and discs.

Weight saving over standard Sierra uprights and hubs is a massive 2.6kgs per side!!!

Braking wise you can opt for any standard Ford M16 caliper / disc combination. Check out the Raceleda R16 calipers and discs or opt the complete Raceleda Sierra full front end kit.

Raceleda braking options can save upto a further 3 Kgs per side! You could save upto 11kgs for a complete front end!

The Raceleda Sierra Upright kit is comprehensive and includes:
- 2 off LM25 Cast Aliminium Uprights
- 2 off Billet Aluminium Brake Brackets
- 2 off stub axles
- 2 off steering Arms
- 6 off stainless Steel Inserts (allows you to use your standard ball joints)
- 2 off Raceleda Aluminium Hubs
- 2 off bearing kits (tracks fitted to hubs)
- 2 off grease caps
- 2 off hub retaining packs (retaing nuts, castellated pressings, nib washers, split pins)
- 8 off wheel studs
- All fasteners required to assemble

Please note the castings in the photograph are Cortina type the Sierra ones are very similar but with slightly different dimensions.

The upright is designed for kit car use and weights of upto 700kgs only.
