Porsche 968 + Porsche track experience day

SKIDZ, the UK’s motor education charity, is giving you the chance to own a dream Porsche track car and a Porsche Driving Experience at Silverstone.
Thanks to a generous donation, a Porsche 968 is for sale with all money raised going towards the charity.
This prize Porsche 968 is currently prepared and running as a track car, including roll-cage. It would be possible to convert it back to a road car should the buyer choose to do so and would make an interesting project for an enthusiast to further develop. First registered in 1994, the Iris Blue 968 has had a service and a mechanical check-over by Porsche Cars GB and a full condition report will be provided to the new owner.
True to the Porsche tradition, the 968 was designed as a practical yet refined sports car, offering an exhilarating driving experience. Launched in 1992, the 968 combined excellent handling and power. At the heart of the 968 is a 3.0 litre, four cylinder engine, developing 240bhp driving the rear wheels through a six-speed manual gearbox. This match of performance and every day usability means the 968 performs both on road and on track.
Porsche has a long-standing relationship supporting the SKIDZ project and included in the prize is the chance for the lucky winner to get acquainted with the 968 track car by enjoying a half day Porsche Driving Experience with a specialist driving consultant at the Porsche Experience Centre, Silverstone. Lunch for two is also provided at the Porsche restaurant at this state-of-the-art venue.
All funds raised will go towards SKIDZ which helps some of the most vulnerable and disadvantaged young people to gain the skills and confidence they need to get ahead in life. The proceeds of the sale would be enough to help support five youngsters at SKIDZ for an entire year.
