Custom built by ZEN Performance in 2008 from bare shell up and subject to extensive R&D to date, this race-prepared 700bhp Time Attack car is available at £45,000 (currently insured at £75,000). The car holds the Time Attack lap record at Snetterton of 1:09.717 (set in October 2009). See below the spec list for the last 2 years of lap times at UK circuits.
The car is ready to race for the 2010 Time Attack season or for very little additional spend can be bought up to MSA rules for race series such as the Nippon Challenge, LMA Euro Saloons, AAA Saloons etc. (any necessary work can be completed by ZEN at extra cost). With an experienced driver the car would be extremely competitive throughout.
Full technical support and engine management tuning can be provided to the purchaser on a consultation basis subject to the going rate.

ELIGIBILITY
The car is currently built for Time Attack use, is road registered and is set up to run on E85 fuel but can be adapted very easily for a wide range of motorsport applications. It retains the factory steel roof and MacPherson strut suspension, and OEM aluminium bonnet, is of full unibody monocoque construction and was built so as not to preclude it from MSA sanctioned events. For ease of construction the exhaust currently exits through the side of the front bumper, for MSA sanctioned events a new exhaust system would be required. It is a 1998 car and as such does not need to use a catalytic converter.
