Fully caged construction with exact dimensions from the factory cars, all pick up points and body panels are the same. The body is manufactured
from Kevlar and Diolen composites, the dash is a true replica of the original GROUP B version with easy access to the fuses and relays.
It also has the replica Abarth gauges, a 303v Terratrip rally timer, a small 3kw heater installation, Sparco Evo seats and Sabelt 6 point harnesses.
Fully functioning fire extinguisher system and a hand held unit, co-drivers map light, Terra trip radio head set.
New double fuel tanks with level gauge.
The engine is a Lancia Beta Volumex supercharged unit which uses a Davies Craig water pump system which keeps everything running at the correct temperature.
The windows are true replicas of the original items with the correct air direction vents.
Braking is provided through a Bias pedal box which is fully adjustable and by AP four pot callipers front and rear with 300mm x 28mm vented discs on aluminium bells. Separate hand brake calliper's which are cable operated plus a separate hydraulic hand brake which works on the main rear calliper's.
Suspension consists of twin Bilsteins shock absorbers on the rear and single coil overs on the front, 2.4 turn quick rack with removable steering wheel. Speedline Works replica wheels.
The exhaust system has been fabricated to look and sound just like the original cars with a 4 into 2 into 1 manifold and a bespoke built rear box with duel outlets and 2 megaphone rear ends.
All in all, the car has been a labour of love and built under exact build dimensions and at todays prices it is a fraction of the cost which are currently priced. Stradale versions are available circa £150 - £200k and full ex works cars are now reaching £250,000 upwards.
