Notes:
This is my 3rd early Evo rally car and by far the best I’ve seen. It’s very light (bang on the weight limit) and very easy to drive. The engine is incredible; it gives over 300bhp for over 3,000rpm which means it’s just a wall of power. The GEMS and jacked throttle with the ALS mean boost never drops below 0.6bar - given that they polish out the seams and joins INSIDE the engine block on this level engine the engine performance is no surprise.
The car was originally a Quick Motorsport build for Phil Jones, it then went onto ‘Mad’ Mick Jones who regularly terrorised the WRC cars on gravel in the UK, beating Perez on more than one occasion. In Barbados the car was the only car to beat local Group A legend Neil Armstrong (Group A Evo VI) outright in an event this year.
It has just been refreshed for the 2010 season ready to go right back to the front of Group A. The car is fully RACMSA logbooked and comes on UK plates. You will not find a cleaner, tidier Evo 3 than this – step in, turn the key, go skate it.
The car is priced at £14,000/$40,000BDS with negotiable spares packages. ($2BDS = $1US).
Car is currently in Barbados, shipping to UK (UK registered car) inclusive.
