Built in December 1990, chassis number 174 was one of the last to be manufactured by Porsche. This model has the original 3,0L flat six engine developing 750 horsepower. The vehicle has only travelled 200km since its first delivery from the Porsche Factory.
The car was sold new to BO Strandell Race Team in January 1991. Having never raced, it spent time at automobile demonstrations until 1992 where it was sold to its second owner who kept it for 22 years. In 2014 it changed ownership again and was completely revised by a German specialist.
In 2019 the vehicle was cosmetically restored by Boutsen Ginion Racing.
Due to never being raced we can safely rule out any possibilities of accident damage. The car has been fully scrutineered (crack test etc.) and is eligible for Le Mans Classic and any other Classic car race event. An expert evaluation has been conducted by Mr Jurgen Barth attesting to the car’s authenticity and signed the delivery receipt from the factory which is enclosed with the car’s documentation.
