Class 3 Peugeot 205 with RWD Vauxhall 2.016v (Cosworth Variant)

This auction is for a class 3 Peugeot 205 autograss car with 2.0lt 16V Engine. This is one of the first original cosworth designed engines which utilises the Mahle forged pistons and which has the significantly more reliable Coscast head.

The car was previously competitive with a 2.0lt Pinto engine. However, the engine has now been changed and a new tig welded front space frame has been made to accommodate this. The car requires some finishing before the new season but this is good opportunity to acquire a potentially very competitive car only requiring some tinkering through the remainder of the winter. As can be seen from the photos all the major fabrication work has been completed, including transmission tunnel, and the remainder of he vehicle is as previously proven. Vehicle has been dry stored all of its life.
