I have for sale two LEFT HAND DRIVE Escort MK1s both available immediately.
BOTH CARS ARE AVAILABLE TO VIEW AND COLLECT FROM MONTARGIS, FRANCE (postcode 45230, about 4 hrs from Calais).
One car is 99% complete but non runner and is perfect for a Mexico/RS2000 rebuild or 'Gp 1' conversion. It has been dry stored for almost 12 years and is very original. Never been welded or repaired and needs only front wings, one rear arch and minor repairs to make a mint shell. The floors, boot and inner wings/bulkhead are all perfect. No chassis rot at all. Excellent doors and boot lid, needs minor parts. Complete interior in great condition. Previously registered in France but available with UK V5. Many photos available by e-mail. Price €3650 euros
The second car is identical but more suited to a 'Gp 4' conversion as it needs a few panels to restore it although it would make a great non-arched car too. The floors, inner wings and boot are all very good but it will need front wings and a repair to one rear arch. There is also a small hole in the right front inner wing near the bumper iron. The car is 100% complete and runs/drives okay. The interior is complete and in good condition. French registered, been standing for 3 years in dry barn. Photos available by e-mail. Price €2650
