Harry Hockly prepared Daihatsu Cuore Avanzato TRXX-R4, Turbo 4wd rally car

Price reduced as I now have a Daihatsu Storia X4.

This is one the original Daihatsu rally challenge series cars built by Harry Hockly Motorsport in the late '90's. Its based on the tiny kei car but was built with a full FIA spec roll-cage, fire extinguisher system etc. Custom exhaust stainless exhaust fitted less than 1000 miles ago
659cc, turbo, twin-cam, 16v, 4wd rally car, revs to 10k rpm, weighs approx 700kg.
Its still pretty much as it was when it was last rallied, stage timer, Apexi boost gauge, dump valve, five point harness, I had a custom stainless exhaust made for it last year.

There is currently around 11k on the clock. It's a bit rough around the edges, but nothing major for a used rally car. It is not currently RAC\\MSA log booked, but has been in the past, so should be quite easy to get again. I will put 12 months MOT on the car when sold

Included in the sale is a std UK rad car which has 47k on the clock, the same 659cc turbo engine and 4wd gearbox. The road car is externally scruffy, most panels are dented or scratched and it has been unused for approx 2 years. When it was last used the aircon, electric mirrors, windows etc all worked. It did have a couple of issues though, fuel gauge not working, rear diff leaked a bit of oil and there is no prop-shaft fitted. I used it for 6 months or so like this, topped up the diff when needed and the car ran fine in 2wd without the prop-shaft. I do have a spare fuel tank, rear axle and prop-shaft with the spares, should you want to out this back to 4wd again.
