5 Point Harness Nascar (SFI Approved)
This 5 point harness is popular with origins in the United States for dirt oval track, Nascar and for rally kart drivers, which is now popular in Europe (Brisca)
The harness has 3″ (inch, approximately 75mm (webbing) belt for the shoulder beltnd the lap belts. With 2″ (approximately 50mm) width on the crutch belt.
It comes with snap hook anchor points on all 5 points with the option to remove the shoulder snap hooks & crotch belt snap hook and use the belt to wrap around a roll cage.
The buckle is a rugged and chunky lever latch which makes it easier to clean. Especially when used in muddy off-road racing or dusty oval tracks. It is attached to the right-hand lap belt.
The harness is compatible with a FHR (Front Head Restraint, commonly called a Hans Device – although this is a brand name).
– Eye bolts are included.
– SFI Homologation is upon request.
– For an additional fee we can manufacture bespoke harnesses to include different lengths of webbing belt e.g. the upper shoulder length to different anchor points etc.
