Item Details
Manufactured in 1990, Jap import model which had 160bhp as standard. Rundown of spec: Chassis: AVO adj coilovers allround. Unsure of spring rates but pretty stiff! Most of suspension polybushed, with remainding few to do still in box unwrapped. usual rear upper and lower strut braces fitted, and engine brace too. MGZR 160 282mm front brake set up with grooved discs, ferodo DS2500 pads, recent in car brake bias valve, standard rear discs. ITR Master Cylinder and servo (makes huge difference to pedal feel) Mechanical: b16 of course, but with less than 75km on clock, ITR camshafts ,retainers and springs. Realistically circa 175-179bhp at flywheel as reprted by previous keeper buy never dynoed so unproven. Y2 gearbox (recently stripped down for inspection, before being treated to 4.9 M-factory final drive and MTF oil used before refitting) I have spent thousands over the last 2 and a bit years, and the car is ready ro race or track day etc. It has not been used on the road so does not have tax or mot, but would need very little to bring up to mot (horn, etc) if you were mad enough to! Very few negatives with the car, the odd scratch and chips on paintwork but no damage as such. (It did have a minor off which required a new wing and bonnet plus inner wing pushing back over) Most of mods carried out over last 12 - 18 months and has only had 3 track days in all that time. (No races) Fantastic Car, fit a transponder and its ready to race!!
